Way round manufacturer specific software?

Question

I have a real copy of Intervideo WinDVD Creator from my PC that I want to use on my laptop but my PC is HP and my laptop is Advent, when I try to load the software it tells me that 'this is not a qualified hp solution' anyone know of a way around this?

Download the correct program ( usually free)
from manufacturer's site
for the DVD creator in your laptop.

Download this program and run.
Also at ( latest version)

This will show details of your display/modem etc.
and download the drivers from the
manufacturer's web site.
2. Save the list for future use
