I've know him since I was 5, we've recently got back in contact and started hanging out. He definitely fancies me, but has just split up with someone so I dont think he's looking for a relationship. What do I do. I really like him!

You can't make someone fall in love with you if they don't want to. Just spend more time together and after a while let him you know you have feelings for him. Go to dinner or maybe the movies and take things slow. It will happen if it's meant to be.

Most relationships that last are the ones that begin as good friends. Let him see your inner qualities first, such as: goodness, kindness, mildness, compassion, self control, etc. How could he resist you if he values those characteristics. Then give your friendship time to mature into something greater if that be. Who knows, someone else may come along that falls for you and he may be the love of your life.

Just be a friend to himl, if you and him are meant to be together, everything will fall into place, don't rush things. Most of all, be yourself, acting like someone you're not will only make you superfical and less desirable. Great relationship aways starts with a great friendship.

You can't make someone fall in love with you, but you can help it along by just being you and if he likes you...before long his feelings for you will grow and evetually he won't be able to imagine his life without you...this is when you will know he is in love with you!!!! Good luck!!

give it some time if u start giving him signs jst now he might think your trying 2 take advantage of him after a few weeks go 4 it.
but then again im just a kid what do i know??? If your still not sure after reading everyones replies just go with what u feel.

He might be on a rebound after the broken relationship so her just needed somebody to fill the emptiness in his heart. And you came along...

You cant make anyone fall for you but you can do little things to show him that you care and then let him know that you're not going anywhere. Once he realizes that, if its meant to be, it will happen.
