I am in my 20s but I have a hard time swallowing pills. Can I just take a double dose of children's liquid motrin for pain relief?

Yes adults can take it, it's completely harmless to adults.

As long as you don't take too much (doubling the dose is definitely a no-no!), you will be fine. Children's Motrin has the same active ingredients as adult Motrin. Children's Motrin makes it possible to "adjust" the dose according to the child's weight. An "adult dose" of children's meds is generally the dose for a child 12 and up.

Regular strength adult dose ibuprophen (motrin) is 200mg. You can just take however much of the children's motrin it takes to get up to 200mg

You know you can work on that issue don't you? Unless you have a problem with your throat, you should be able to swallow pills. Think of it this way: you swallow mouthfulls of food that are much larger than a pill! It's in your head, unless like I said you have a physical issue, in that case you wouldn't be able to swallow food.

Yes. My daughter is 25 and takes it because she has esophageal motility disorder and she will often throw up pills. Liquids go down easier.
