It is in Human Nature to Destroy. I believe this is because we have not as a species been humbled by the consequences of our destruction. One day this world wake up and realize just how far we have gone down the wrong path. Lets hope it is sooner than later that we realize what we are doing.

Almost all religions embrace the concept of Freewill, the idea that the Gods gave humanity the ability to think freely and critically and act accordingly. Without Freewill we would all just be automatons that do exactly as we are told, incapable of choosing between Right and Wrong. However, Freewill means that humans can do whatever they want. Therefore the theory of Freewill means that God doesn't cause the evil you see around you, but MAN DOES. Without Freewill, we would be incapable of having a meaningful relationship with the Divine. So guess what, the white Chinese river dolphin is gone, 200,000 people in Indonesia are homeless, war, famine, etc. are all caused and/or furthered by humanity because we are able to act and think for ourselves. This is the great dilemma of Modern Theology. But it calls each of us back to Right Actions and a responsibility to Creation. And yes, generally speaking, only the Atheists are answering the call! Care and self-motivated, or non-religious-agenda-motivated, actions towards the earth and all people needs some major improvement. Good Luck!

If you're questioning God, you are in danger of Hellfire.
You must recant this question quickly, and ask one that is favorable to God, for he reads these questions and answers on here God is not amused by questions such as yours.

I'm astounded that people think a god will help. That's why people are lazy. they won't get up and do stuff for themselves. Last time I checked, I was the one who filled out an application for a job that pays better to help me get out of my debt.
