Lets get to the point.
Abraham - hears a voice in his head telling him that he is the messenger of God, and to kill his son.
Manson - hears a voice in his head telling him that he is the messenger of God, and to recruit and sacrifice.
Im not for Manson, Im just making an observation.

Say what thou wilt, oh please what?

I find it odd that jesus christ referred to himself as The Son Of Man, while Charles Manson referred to himself as jesus christ. Striking coincidence, huh?

There is nothing to suggest it was not an audible voice. He also did it reluctantly, and never actually went through with it. Because the angel stopped him. Totally different than a psychotic manipulator that is Charles Manson.

Interesting observation indeed. In this world there is no telling. This planet and all of us little creatures who live on it are so perfectly imperfect and nuttier than a fruit cake only God knows and I worry about him at times!

Manson didn't hear voices. He's just a blood thirsty control freak.

Yes I can see the similarity's only in Abraham's case I don't believe the entire thing ever happened. It is just a nice story to remind us of the power of God to test his people.

Isn't it funny how we exalt Abraham for following "Gods message" and yet we look down upon those who say they are following gods messageand say, but they COULDN'T be because god wouldn't allow THEM to deliver his message. Hypocritical don't ya think. Considering Abraham "lived" ver 4000 ears ago... or something like that.

Good point, actually. Who's to say Charles wasn't the real prophet and we'll all go to hell now for not worshipping him?
