When someone says they are in an open relationship it means they are not committed to the person they are dating and are free to see other people. If you ask me open relationships are nothing but trouble because someones feelings are going to get hurt somewhere down the line.

An open relationship means that they are dating each other, but they can date others. They are each others back-ups. They always will have a date for whatever occasion, but they are looking for something better to come along.

It means that they are not truly committed to each other and date other people at the same time. This may be a good thing for some people if you have safe sex each and every time. However this is how some people end up on Maury or the Jerry Springer show. If you know what I mean.

It means they are open to other men or women, A closed relationship is when its just the two of you commited to be together open means you see other people sleep with other people. Open realtionships are trouble hun, id try to find someone that will commit no just want to sleep around and play the field!

it means just that . they are in a relationship that is open to anyone. they see each other but they date other people also. yep you can date him if he is in an open relationship ,

an open relationship is: two people they have a relationship with no boundaries , you would be very surprised at the amount of people that ,indeed have this sort of rapport ........
to them , it is all about freedom in regard to one another .never quite understood this sort of thing , but it works for some ,
some of them are very attached and it can last for years , it is odd , but one must respect others choices ,and :yes some of them do love one another ...........odd ? yes ...............
be sure , before dating someone saying this , that the truth is being told as to not get into trouble with the partner ........;
i knew an older couple , that had an open relationship that lasted for over 65 years ! amazing ! and yes .........they loved one another .....he died at 96 years of age ...still loving her , and she did as well ............
watch your heart , for , not all see life the way you do ..........and vice versa :-) you may end up loving and breaking your heart ...........

There is no such thing as an open relationship. You're either with someone or you're not.
Yes, you can date them, but the only thing you'll get out of it is a trick. If you want a trick, go clubbing-it might be cheaper.

they are saying they a probably with someone but they don't think its going to work so they are open for new thing and they are just doing friendly dating and exploring around

An open relationship means that they are not dating anyone but each other (love), however, they can have sex with whoever they want (lust).
