I've spent the last two days preparing for our Imbolc celebration, for which I'll be leaving in roughly an hour.
There are things in life more vital than being here on Yahoo answers, lovey.
I do know, though, that SOME of the Pagans who used to participate more here have simply gotten fed up with the inane comments like "Whether you know it or not, you're really serving SATAN!" and have left. It's truly annoying to have to wade through a lot of that stuff when all you wanted to know was whether other Pagans here have a wood preference for their wands.
There are times when I lose patience, too, and take a break from this place.
Bright Blessings! I'll be back tomorrow (but no guarantees that I'll be answering a lot of questions....some days there aren't more than 6 or 7 that I bother with)

They generally don't want to post here because of the Christians. Yes, many have actually told me that.
Anything that they post here is immediately attacked by a hundred Christians making posts like "you need to find god", "read the bible", etc. And then they don't get the answer they were asking for anyway. Or, if they do, its in among a hundred insulting Christian posts and no one wants to have to read a hundred insulting Christian posts just to get to one that actually answers the question asked.
The Atheists tend to be politer and mostly ignore posts from them with the occasional short thing of "it isn't real" thrown into replies. But thats all.
See, I'm Wiccan but I rarely talk about it on here because of the Christians. I tend to argue from the Atheists point of view instead since Wicca doesn't actually deny anything an Atheist says and, in fact, accepts much of what they say (like science).
If the Christians would stop being so rude (and reporting them does no good at all because what they say can be interpretted as being nice by anyone else but the pagan involved) then the other religions would post here again.

I am here. I am just rather picky about what I answer. Might be different if I wanted points, but they really don't matter. If I can't contribute a wee bit of knowledge, I do not bother to answer. And unlike so many others I do have a life that does not revolve around Y/A. I have a business to run and a support group to assist in managing. NOBODY scares me off! But some really piss me off! LMAO!!

I'm Wiccan but I've really cut back on my postings simply because I don't feel the need to prove my beliefs or disprove anyone else's. I truely think we're all here to follow our own paths and just as an anonymous YA person isn't going to change my faith, I can't imagine that I am going to change anyone's way of thinking ABOUT my faith. If someone truly believes that I'm a devil worshipping puppy killer, my few sentences in defense of myself and Wicca or paganism in general isn't really going to change his mind.
Thank you for asking.

Hello - I have a habbit of posting from multiple view points - often people assume I am a Christian, no idea why because I never catagorically state I am.

Nowhere - just picking through trying to find questions that I feel I can contribute to.
I do know that my local pagan groups were celebrating Imbolc on Saturday night, so that might be where some folks were.

I think we the atheists and the Christians have scared them off with our bickering back and forth.
That's bad.
