I agree completely, chocolate bars are definitely smaller then they were when I was a kid. They're not as bad as crisps though, have you actually seen how few crisps you get in a packet now? I can see why the companies do it, it allows them to say each pack only contains blah blah grammes of fat, they neglect to metion it's because you're getting about 15 crisps per pack.
Sad, isn't it, when you feel nostalgic for the good old days!

They keep getting smaller but packaging it to appear larger-- until it's too apparent. Then they jack up the price and make it a larger and your ole regular size regular is now your brand new jumbo. The midget bar now is called regular. Sorta the same thing they do to women's clothing.

It is not you!!!! You are not going mad, they have gone tiny! I remember when curly wurlys where about 30cms long and Cadbury creme eggs were the same size as a normal egg, they have all gone smaller but cost twice as much!

Candy bars are smaller now than they were 5 years ago, but they are still bigger than they were 20 years ago. For example: King sized Hershey bars used to be 8 oz, now they are 5.5 oz. You can still get the 8 oz., but they sell them as baking ingredients, not candy bars.

They have shrunk over the years. It is a marketing way of making it look like you are getting a lot when you are not.

I have to agree that they are smaller and packets are less full. They are also much more expensive and this is very unfair!
