Certain items will work. In a pinch, take the VIN from your Buick, and a VIN from a Caprice of the same year, and take some time to slowly build up a comparison list for each vehicle. This will then tell you what parts can be interchanged, and what cannot. From basic memory, Buick did not have a lot of common parts with Chevy, but there should be enough that are common, to help you out in your rebuilding task. Good luck.
