The answer is yes. It would be irresponsible to tell someone over the internet how to do it. Not to mention that it would be all but impossible for you to do it anyway simply by reading a description.

The body's central nervous system is like a series of wires carrying electrical impulses to and from the brain. By striking very specific points, you can basically cause a short circuit in the nerves. Some areas have 'fuses' that can blow out to protect the brain or other vital organs from damage. But other areas can bypass these 'fuses' and do damage directly to the vital organs.

Fortunately, the brain has reflexes that allow it to quickly avoid having those areas struck. Try hitting someone in the temple. Even someone who has no training in martial arts isn't going to just stand there and let you hit them. And even if you do make contact, their head will likely move with the strike to absorb some of the force and not allow as much damage.

... Yes. You would have to hit them decently hard.

But... the likelihood of you being able to hit them on someone who is resisting even a little bit? Almost impossible.

Like the dude who was talking about being hit in the temple, heavy weight boxers hit each other in the temple all the time, but you never see a single shot on a fighter being the main cuase of death. It's usually a long history of trauma or a pre-existing condition that causes them to die if they get hit in the head. Boxers are some of the best hitters with the hadns in both power and technique that you'll ever see, so if they aren't killing each other all the time by hitting each other just right, the likelihood of you being able to do it is very low.

Forget this magical BS, pressure points are fun and all, but if you want to learn how to fight, go and learn how to fight. don't rely on mystical low percentage moves or you will get your butt handed to you.

It's not reliable to hit people in pressure points, unless you're going for a wide open shot. If you want to use pressure points to disable people, don't bother. They won't give you a chance to hit them in that spot, probably.

And kill someone? Go learn the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique. =)

I do know that you have to hit a person pretty hard to knock them out but as for killing them I would have to say is the palm strike to the underside of the nose in an upward forward motion really hard will shove the bone up into the brain which can cause death. My question to you is "Why are you asking this sort of question?

Depends on the medical condition of the person. Simply put the adams apple is a pressure point, 8lbs of pressue can break a bone.

1) Yes there are potentially lethal pressure points.
2) It depends on who you are hitting & the angle.

yep the human body is extremely fragile and if you hit someone on the temple hard enough you can kill em' there's also the solar plexus . the solar plexus is actually a "nervous strangulation" you don't even have to hit very hard there and your opponent is stunned but if you hit hard enough you can kill em but it's gotta be pretty hard

yes there is a style of martial arts that deals with pressure points but it is very dangerous and should not be attempted, pressure points are very useful but they can also be very dangerous especially if you don't know what your doing... i do NOT reccomend you use pressure points in any type of altercation
