No Islam does not turn ppl to terrorism....Islam means PEACE....its just certain factions who take the name if Islam and perform terrorist acts giving Islam (the religion) a bad name
I have to say that i do believe the Media is extremely biased and has made things worse when it could have made things better. Infact Media is supposed to show the TRUTH and the truth means showing exactly what happened and the two side of the coin, however, this never seems to happen....they favour one side and over expose the other according to their ratings!
Islam teaches peace and forgiveness, love and harmony....just like other religions....ijust wish people would stop blaming the religion and start singling out the pathetic souls who hide behind the curtain they call religion to serve their own purposes!

Good Question. I have a muslim friend, who, before 9/11 was a really nice guy, who made the muslim faith look friendly and peaceful, which is apparantley is. But after 9/11 he has joined the Army Cadets, sworn his life to a muslim-related army, bad mouths anything the US or Britian do, and attends way more muslims preachings than he use to. Basically, he's genrally changed into some guy to hates Everyone, specially jews. I dunno if the religion has changed or something, but it seems that muslims are responsiable for every other terrorist attack in the world. Wouldn't it be easier if we didnt religions? Dont answer this, cos my account will probs get banned lol

With Iraq, I see all this sectarian killing that is fuel by revenge. All someone has to do is blow up a Shi'ite neighborhood and then it is a constant back and forth between sects. It takes supernatural restraint to forgive when it is undeserved and not seek vengeance. It does not seem like those principles are a part of their religion. So if a Palestinian family is killed accidentally by an Israeli bomb, it is the remaining family member's responsibility to go and blow themselves up and kill some more Israelis. And it just becomes a tit for tat that will never stop. This sort of mind set is what breeds terrorists, and as long as a religion that supports revenge is taught, it will not stop.

No. Like many other religions Islam teaches people to be respectful and charitable - a good person. There are extremists who have, after 1000 years of repelling Christian invasions (think of the crusades) begun to believe that the only way to preserve their way of life is to take the threat out at the source, but the average Muslim is a reasonable person who knows that history is just that, and would just like to get on with their lives and get along with their non-Muslim neighbors.
Think of way-off in left field (and media-worthy) fundamentalist Christians as opposed to the average everyday Christian on the street.

The Quran (Koran) demands that Muslims stand firm in the face of their adversaries and instructs them to fight against their oppressors. It also says that anyone who doesn't conform to Islam is to be considered as an adversary and potential oppressor. Put those two concepts together and what have you got? Potential terrorism. While most Muslims do not let this instruction turn them into terrorists, some with more aggressive personalities "take it to the hilt" and feel they are doing Allah a favor, and assuring themselves a place in heaven as heroes in the process.

Only the fascist branches of the religion. Which is an oxymoron in the fact that Muslim extremists' practices are almost exactly that of the Nazis. AKA our way or die. This isn't religion...this is ethnic cleansing. It's happening to this day as we see it all through out the middle east. The suicide bombers get younger and younger. The truth is in their actions...no matter how the media portrays this.

No, the religion of Islam as most religions are...is fairly peace-loving. Islam deals with mutual respect for others in the same way Christianity and Judaism do.
If you examine each of the 3 religions, you will find that there are extremists in each category. Fortunately, they are a small minority in each. We already are familiar with the vocal Islamic groups, but there are also Christian extremists such as neo-nazis, white supremacists, and the group in Kansas that protests at military funerals saying G-d killed them because the US is so lenient about homosexuality. Each one believes they are driven by G-d's will.
In Israel, there are even Jewish extremists who are in favor of terrorism as well.

Like most religions, the religion and its teachings are not at fault.
Just certain priests who have a alternative interpretation of the teachings and use this to control people and gain power and wealth.
Christians are just as guilty

First, the hard truth: Your English is very difficult to understand, so I can't be sure I'm answering the right question.
But, no, I don't think Islam makes fanatics anymore than Christianity or Judaism do. For all of them, it's a question of current circumstance.

That's only one aspect. Other aspects include appealling to the Politically Correct, making acqusations of Racism and Discrimination.
All in an effort to dominate and control.
Which is what Terrorism is about. Domination and control.
