At the toll when I threw the change some of it fell down and I did not know how much fell in the collector and how much fell on the ground. I did not have another change also. So I left the toll without paying the exact amount. Does some one know what I can do at this time?

Almost all tolls have a sound sensor where if you blow your horn at a toll, a camera automatically takes a picture of you license plate and then sends you a bill to pay the toll w/o penalty. As of what to do now, im not sure. They might let you go considering you tried to pay the toll and if not i would say use your best judgement and pay the fine or fight it.

Wait for the ticket, toll stops where tolls are not paid, take a picture of your license and forward a ticket. Next time stop and get out of the car. Hopefully someone will give you the toll or the toll road will be blocked for hours.

Call the state agency responsible for the road and tell the person the approximate time this happened to you.
You do realize, of course, that you're supposed to STOP, deposit the toll, and wait for the green light, don't you? You are not supposed to keep driving and throw the coins.
If you play basketball frequently with tolls, then you had it coming and can't cry foul if you get a ticket.

Illinois has signs at the booths that say were to send the money to if you forgot to pay. otherwise in a few weeks you'll usually find a ticket in your mail cause they are hi-tech. sensors, cameras etc that track every car that rolls thru the gate. some even after 9/11 can take pics of interiors, a friend of a friend got caught with open container. even though he drank the bottle of beer at another day the 6 pack had a bottle missing its considered open container in Illinois.

oh man that's it, big brother is probably busting down your door right now LOL , but seriously , just call the folks at the appropriate road authority and they will help you out and probably be confused by your honesty
