Depends on your budget & home location.
If you live near a port, a cruise is the perfect vacation! There's always something fun to do, 24/7 room service, best food ever, and you can visit more than 1 city. All in 5 days & under $1000 per couple.
Are there any tourist attractions in your home state or an adjacent one?

My favorite place is the Mountains in Colorado. Rent a cabin and enjoy the peacfullness of nature. This time of year though, I would suggest Sunny California or Cancun. If planning a spring or summer vacation I just love Colorado!

How about a cruise from Vancouver, British Columbia to Alaska? It would offer breathtaking scenery, a time to enjoy your family or partner, and a chance to eat some really good food and drink without worrying about logistics.
