not better or worse, the same. To hell with your neighbor, their kid will more'n likely be a complete juvenile delinquent anyway

I wouldn't consider two gay parents better or worse from a values perspective, but I do think it will be difficult for the child. He will obviously be harrassed at school and face some difficulties/discrimination others don't. But I really don't think it's much different from what would happen to a child named Moon-Unit. I am CERTAINLY NOT saying this to discourage or disapprove of gays parenting. The world needs more good parents...no matter what their sexual identity is.
Don't blame your neighbor's religion. Your neighbor is an angry bigot who finds an angry bigot in his God. He'd still be an idiot no matter what he believed.
Good luck to you and your family.

The hate sticker is not Christian like at all, nor is saying rude comments, especially in front of your child. I am 100% against homosexuality as I believe it to be sinful. That doesn't excuse your neighbor though, he sins equally with his lack of love and display of hate. I hope that your child will grow up knowing God, as for anything else, that will be between yourself and God, I am not your judge.
BTW, I have friends who are gay, and they know my viewpoint. Also, I know two female partners who successfully raised a great little boy, so all I can say is at least the love and nurturing are there for the child, which is better than many heterosexual households.

Statistics show that two parents are better than a single parent, and a single parent is better than no parent in bringing up a child.
There will be ignorant people who hate your lifestyle. You cannot control what they think or do. If you think this will become a dangerous situation for your family, I suggest you look to moving to a more tolerant place.

I am very sorry that this is happening to you. A loving family is a loving family no matter how it is created. Your neighbor is just being close-minded.
You should get one of those stickers that says "Hate is not a family value".
And although i am not Christian (I am Buddhist) I would assume that there are more religious people out there who would welcome you with open arms...

Some people love to use God to justify their need for intolerance and bigotry (including preachers such as Jimmy Swaggart, Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell -- they have all made hateful statements about gays, example attached). You are a bigger person than those morons. Stay strong. Your child is lucky to have such devoted parents who want no part of hatred.

I am a Christian and it is sad to see something like that happen. The thing that you have to remember is that everyone who says that they are a Christian is not necessarily a true Christian, and even if they were they are not perfect. But as a Christian, I believe that it is pretty cut and clear in the bible that homosexuality is wrong. Now all that aside, I don't hate you, rather I hate the lifestyle you have chosen. Also as for homosexual parenting, studies have shown that children brought up in single parent homes have alot more relational issues later on in life. I would expect the same results from a homosexual set of parents, because in your case there is a lack of female parenting and guidance for the child.

You need to get one of those "Focus on your own damn family" stickers.
Those rule.
EDIT: Better yet, move to a more enlightened place. A friend of mine, a lesbian, used to live in Colorado Springs. When she moved ~100 miles up to Denver/Boulder, she said everyone was so much more loving.
