You know why I hate Christians? Its because it was foretold to me by god both through him and Christians that I was never anything but a pile of s*** and that I am going to die alone in my bed with nothing and no one, and also that I am the devil. I have received supernatural confirmation that that is who I am. As hard as that is to believe. One thing that further confirmed it is a woman that was walking around praising god out loud and then all of a sudden looks at me and tells me I am a demon. Thats really would want you to be a Christian wouldn't it? That would make you love christs people to wouldn't it? **** your ******* god and your savior douchebag, get the **** out of here!!!!!!!!!!! I am a very caring person at the same time.

1)we are all forgiven, and we want everyone else to believe, but that won't happen.
2) I don't believe that you care about what God thinks.
3) We say God will judge us in the end how are we obsessed?
4) We are all sinner I am probably the biggest one of them all. I might nag you and you won't become a Christian.
5) Not all of us are obnoxious and self righteous.
6) No we believe that they are 'lost' or don't believe not of the devil.
7) Okay did you actually hear anyone say that?
8) We know that if you don't believe Jesus saved you then He comes back to take us home then it will be to late. Not if you like us.
9) Did the government do it? I could ask you the same question how do you know your not brainwashed and we're right?
10) What? No your so used to sin you think it is okay to do it. And we say sin I when you do something bad such as steal, murder, hate, covet, etc.

Reasons why I hate christianity:
1) You all think you are SAVED and that everyone else should be like you.
2) You think we care about what your 'god' wants.
3) You are obsessed with judgment.
4) You have the arrogant attitude that all of us deep down are just like you and that if you nag us we'll all become just like you. YOU'RE WRONG.
5) All superstitions bother atheist. Christians just happen to be the dominate religion in America and therefore the most obnoxious and self-righteous.
6) You think that anyone who doesn't believe in the same superstitious drivel as you do, must be 'of the devil'.
7) People like you end your self-righteous rants with 'I'll pray for anyone who doesn't do as I say'. Begging your god to make everyone think your way will not work.
8) You think that if we don't think like you before some imaginary deadline that it will be too late for us.
9) You really want to believe that you aren't brainwashed. When you clearly are brainwashed.
10) You tell us that we are brainwashed by sin. There is no such thing as sin and even if there were, it would be an abstract concept which, wouldn't be able to 'do' anything to anyone.
11) You cling to the fallacy that believing in your god will make us 'gain' everything and if we don't then we are damned.
12) You are arrogant, self-righteous and superstitious.
And that's why I don't like your religion or believe in your imaginary god.

As an aethist, I dont hate christians....But it does get annoying sometimes when the Christians are saying that they have the one true religion, that you should convert and repent and that only the Christians are going to be saved. By saying that, Christians give the impression that they don't care about any other religions. It's also kinda offensive when you hear people say that they will pray for you becuase you don't believe in their God. People get offended by this, and will argue about it, thus giving the impression that they hate Christians! If someone said that [ insert any religion except Christianity here ] was the one TRUE religion, and that everything else was practically worthless, how would you feel?
No offense.

Why do Christians judge the actions of other faiths?
Why do Christians prosletyze ("spread the word") even though they are told by "non-believers" that prosletyzing is annoying?
Why do Christians only accept non-Christians only IF non-Christians are, one day, to be "saved"?
Why do Christians believe that followers of other faiths are inferior to Christians?
Why is it that most bible-based Christians that I meet, they have nothing else to talk about other than their faith, yet value nothing I have to say?
Why is it that most Christian denominations pronounce other Christian denominations "wrong"?
Why do so many Christians STILL believe that Jesus was a Christian???
I know most Christians who speak of respecting the faith of others, yet their body language speaks volumes of the opposite.
Show me a non-judgmental Christian and I'll drop the resentment.
BTW: I am judgmental, but I am a better person in admitting that I am. This is how I am able to make sound choices for every facet of my life. I'd have more respect for followers of organized religion if they were to just come out and admit it. God does not judge...am I right? It's his sinful children who cannot help judging others. In other words, followers/believers may speak of not judging others, but they really do. It's how we are wired as humans. Humans cannot escape it no matter how hard they try.
Gargle on that for awhile.

Do you want an honest answer? A lot of the answer is actually contained within your question. When you say you are "commanded to share the good news", this is justification for you disrespecting other beliefs and trying to convert people to your own beliefs. It is the basis for intolerance. When you say, "deep down you know we are right" it is such an arrogant statement. Again, what belief works for you does not work for everyone. How can you be so banal as to believe someone who was raised in any other faith, or is an atheist believes you are right? Anyone who thinks their faith is the only correct one is a prejudiced bigot. I don't like Christianity. To me, it is nothing but organized abuse. To say that anyone who has the misfortune to be born into this world comes with sin, and someone actually had to die to erase this (uncomitted) sin is nothing but applying horrible guilt that the individual can do nothing to erase. To tell a child that the act of just being a human caused someone to have to die for them is not loving. It is the antithesis of loving. And it is the basis of Christianity. Do you REALLY believe that only Christians have the one true holy path? If so, I feel sorry for you. This is such a "street gang" mentality. We are right, everyone else is wrong. Swell ethos you've got going for yourself.
EDIT ADDITION: I don't know what your motivation in posting this question was, maybe you're just a troll, I don't know. But read the answers you got carefully. Some of them aren't very interesting, but some of them raise questions that you could ponder in your spiritual quest. Don't put a coat of varnish on your spirituality and call it "done". Don't dismiss interesting points just because they don't agree with what you wish were true. The people who answered don't hate you...they don't know you...so why would they trouble themselves to respond? Perhaps their beliefs are as strong as yours, at least consider what some have written as questions you can explore.

Because of Christians' bad behavior of course. Take a look at the little "Osama bin Christ" I put under "source".
But your behavior is just as bad. Obviously you're not perfect - you're not even able to conduct yourself like an adult on a public forum. In the process of trying to persuade others that you're right, you tell us that we don't know what we believe, that "the devil is inside" of us, and that we're brainwashed. That's strike one, strike two, and strike three.
I don't think that you were really trying to be nice here, which means that your "niceties" were simply a lie. Strike four. If you really WERE trying be nice, you fell amazingly far short of your goal. Heck, I'm nicer than this to people when I'm TRYING to insult them.
Then on top of all of that, you said that Jews, Hindus, and Muslims are all also satanic. Strike five, six, and seven. If we throw in your use of Pascal's Wager at the end and your inability to write correctly, you've managed to strike out the side. That means it's time to sit down.
What you need to do is get off of the internet, sit down and think about your arrogance problem. It's okay to be confident when you are also well-behaved and know what you're talking about, but you clearly don't qualify on either of those counts. You should be deeply ashamed of what you've done here - it clearly says
"I don't care at all about other people, about my own reputation, about behaving like an adult, about truth or morals, or about whether or not I trash the reputation of Jesus Christ".
Is that really what you want to say when you post here?
I suggest that you take that time to reflect, and then come back here and apologize. If you can do that, then we'll consider forgiving you for your childish outburst. You should strongly consider asking the Christians for forgiveness as well.

My greatest complaint about Christians is the vanity and arrogance. It doesn't help that the whole premise of Christianity is about as believable as Harry Potter stories.
Vanity and arrogance, I say? Your remark "Anyone who criticizes me, I will pray for, I will forgive them and hope God forgives them too." makes a mighty big assumption that you are absolutely correct in your attitudes and are above mine or anyone's criticism. Your remark "I believe that deep down you really do know we are right, but the devil is inside of you." is the most arrogant and off-the-mark comment that I think that I ever seen anyone make. I hold no secret admiration for your religion or your arrogance. It sounds to me like you have a bit of a problem with unwarranted pride. I'd like to think that you secretly admire my greater intelligence and ability to reason, and although I may feel that I am worthy of that admiration, I doubt that you actually feel it. I do not hate you or anyone, I pity you for your arrogant and small minded attitudes and poor reasoning that you claim are so great and noble.
Poor reasoning - You state that "By beleiving, you have so much to gain and nothing to loose." That's logically impossible to do. How do I go about believing something that I do not believe? And would your God not know my true heart? I do have my personal integrity to lose, though, by claiming to believe something that I do not believe.
You appear to be totally blinded by what you see as the correctness and righteousness of Christians and Christianity that there is no point in anyone wasting any more keystrokes to explain it to you. I absolutely know that I don't have the answer to all of life's mysteries, perhaps you feel you do, you seem to be happy with what you believe, but you definitely don't have the ones that I am looking for. If your God is real, he knows what and why people question the things that they do and his understanding of them will far surpass yours, so please don't concern yourself with those whom you do not understand. When you say "Please don't be offended by "pushy" Christians. We really do care, and are commanded to share the good news", it's all very patronizing. Unless you don't mind me offering to think rational thoughts for you, please don't offer to pray for me.

And I pray you find the spellchecker button before you post again because your misspellings hurt my eyes.
And this is the reason christians were thrown to the lions. Rome did not have a problem with many religions but christians insist on twiting everyones arm to get them to follow.
If you are going to share, do so once then go away. If you see someone has already shared, don't bother. Really we don't need to share. We know where to find you and will come to you if we are interested.
Feel free to pray for me as long as you do it in a closet away from my sight and not wherever I might trip over you.

no no no. I don't hate christians. I think you are being misled. You want to bring me to the truth, right? Well I'd like to bring you to the truth also. There is no devil inside of me. I find that offensive. All religions bother me, not just christianity. It just happens to be the one I know the most about, and christians happen to post here the most.
I do have a lot to lose by believing. Years of my life wasted worshiping a non-existant god, countless hours of guilt for "sinning". I will have lost a lot of opportunity to do real good in the world.
It is nice that you are a caring individual, but you are misguided.
