If God knows everything, why would he even let a person come into this world because he knows they are going to hell? A good parent doesn't let his kid have "free will" to play on the freeway. A good parent doesn't ask his kid, "Do you want to go to school today?" Parent don't let kids make decisions they aren't mature enough to make. Christianity is a conundrum.
My question is when they stoned the woman for adultery, what happened to the guy they caught her "adulterating" with. Why didn't they stone him?

It's sad that you think so lowly of yourself. Satan has deceived the whole world. I've been deceived. You've been deceived. We've all been been deceived. ONLY Jesus can bring you into the light of the TRUTH. Your only problem with that is, Satan (the god of this world) is telling you with subtle messages of temptation and deceit that you already have the truth. That you're already free. That you don't need anybody to tell you what you already know. He despises you and me, God's creation of Mankind. Satan and his Angels (Demons) are PRIMING YOU for his one and ONLY objective on this earth........THE ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION OF YOUR SOUL!! He has deceived you and intends on taking you and everybody else like you to hell (the Grave) and your souls consumed by Fire. This is no joking matter. This is not a "scare tactic". This is the TRUTH!! The darkness cannot understand the light, but the light exposes the dark and reveals the lies within. You CANNOT possibly UNDERSTAND the truth without the FAITH to understand the Word of God. The ONLY WAY to defeat death is the through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God that will reveal the truth to you. Not until then will the cloak of deception be removed from your eyes and your soul be freed................Praise God!!

Wow, what a crock of junk. I can see a group of atheist fools have taken over this category and is flooding it with the anti-god message. Simple facts.. Do wrong you get punished. Mankind has, as shown in world history, wants to do something so he finds a way to do so with little or no guilt feeling. This is morally and factually wrong and shows the basic concepts put down in the Bible to be the real foundation of how we should live. As good moral people! Hell is in the Bible and it wasn't created by the Catholic Church (that is the concept of a "purgatory" that goes along with the false idea that you can pray some sinner out if it)

Negative reenforcement is a valid behavioristic tool. They connect you up to a power system and give you a shock eveytime you want to smoke and soon you get the desire to smoke driven out of you by the fear of hell.
The army uses the same approach. If you don't get Charlie, Charlie will get you.
Many parents use this approach with the spanking. Do wrong and there is hell to be paid.
School uses this approach with detension, suspension.
The most effective weapon in the world is terrorism, with people burning in fire and brimstone as we saw yesterday in Bagdad market square.
Look at what all the fire and brimstone of 9-11 did to the people of the US. Made them fear the wrath of Allah.
It's quite an effective tool. Not the best in the world, but quite an effective tool.

We don't use it as a scare tactic.....God is God he was and is always there and he has a son name Jesus who died on the cross for our sins....and if you don't believe in him you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.....and if your soul doesn't go to heaven there's only one other place it will spend eternity....whether you believe it or not it will happen.....it's not a scare tactic it's a fact! What's awesome about God is that although he created us he doesn't control us....he gives us free will to make our own decisions....just like the law they don't force you do do good but if you break the law there are consequences :). I would love for you to read this book it's called the Divine Revelation of Heaven and Hell by Mary K. Baxter you can find it on line if you are interested. Very interesting book to read!

Why would a parent use a scare tactic to keep a child from running into traffic?
When a real danger exists, you want to keep people from it.
Hell is a real danger. I don't even know you but I sincerely don't want you to spend eternity there.
Because Christians like myself believe that Hell is a real place they are only trying to warn and help others. I am sorry if it doesn't always come across that way.
God bless you on your journey.

Would you rather God NOT tell you the truth about hell?
" He that believeth and is baptized SHALL BE SAVED; he that believes not SHALL BE DAMNED ". - Jesus
"So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth". - Jesus (Matt. 13:49)

TRUE Christians know the truth about hell. Look at what Jacob said concerning hell. After hearing that his son had seemingly been killed by a beast, Jacob said: “I will go down to my son into hell [Sheol, AS], mourning.” (Gen. 37:35, Dy) Did Jacob visualize his son in a steaming, scorching fire? And did Jacob expect to go to such a place? Clearly, Jacob did not view hell as being red-hot.
After the prophet Jonah had been swallowed by a big fish, Jonah prayed: “I cried out of the belly of hell [Sheol, AS]: and thou hast heard my voice.” (Jonas 2:3, Dy) Was it red-hot where Jonah was? No, it must have been damp and dark, although warm at fish-body temperature. Jonah spoke the way he did because he understood hell or Sheol to be the grave. For, had not Jehovah delivered him, the fish’s belly would certainly have become Jonah’s grave. If hell were eternal, Jonah would not have gotten out.
Job was a faithful servant of God. Trying to break Job’s integrity, the Devil placed Job in a miserable state of affairs. So the suffering Job prayed to God: “Who will grant me this, that thou mayst protect me in hell [Sheol, AS], and hide me till thy wrath pass, and appoint me a time when thou wilt remember me?” (Job 14:13, Dy) Since Job was already being tormented by the Devil, would he pray to be “protected” in, of all places, a Devil-managed compartment of red-hot coals? Hardly! Job would not pray to go from the frying pan into the fire! Job understood hell to be the common grave of mankind where he would rest until the resurrection.
The prophet Amos records Jehovah’s words to those who would try to escape the Almighty’s wrath: “Though they go down even to hell, thence shall my hand bring them out.” (Amos 9:2, Dy) Would the wicked, trying with all their might to flee from the wrath of God, dig into a place that would bring them only red-hot torture?
Hell is nothing more than the common grave of mankind.
