New Ageism embraces supernaturalism, but ascribes it to the creature, not the Creator (Romans 1:22-24). They flaunt the "I am God" concept as it naturally appeals to man's ego and thirst for power, an appeal as old as the Garden of Eden. Satan promised Eve: "YE SHALL BE AS GOD."

It is of of the goals of the New Age Movement to cause people to rebel against the true God of the Bible and to believe that they are deities. By Christian understanding, once Satan has the person in this heretical frame of mind, then the battle is won. The individual will then be called for greater service to the Prince of Darkness. And with a mind clouded and confused, he or she will comply. The individual will have become a member, knowingly or unknowingly, of the Satanic conspiracy.

Satan's primary tactic in opposing God is not to foster atheism but religion; not to prove there is no God but to be worshipped as God. "I have not come to found a new religion," "Lord Maitreya" says. "I have come to teach the art of Self-realization, the I AM"

The end for New Age is mentioned in the Jewish Torah in Isaiah 47
47:8 Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, who dwell securely, who say in your heart, “I AM, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, nor shall I know the loss of children”; but these two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness because of the multitude of your sorceries, for the great abundance of your enchantments.

Hitler and his Nazi bigwigs were occultists who used Madame Blavatsky's teaching on Jews and Judaism to start annihilating them. Hiter pretended to be Christian in order to implement this while undermining Christian churches with pagan symbols of the old Germans.

Can you prove that New Age practices have been around longer than the Hindu and pagan beliefs that they sprang from, contemporary with Judaism but not older ? Read up on history, then talk

" Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy..."(1Tim.4:1)

Jesus said: In the last days " many false prophets shall arise and deceive many".
"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming them selves into apostles of Christ. And no marvel for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed into (appearing as) ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.". (2 Corin.11:13)]

Good question....

Actually, the end times are past. The prophecies of the Bible and all other scriptures have been fulfilled.

We are now in the time of beginning, a new cycle known as the Baha'i Era, which is destined to last at least 500,000 years.

I'm confused. Is this a new age rant or a rapture rant? Would you please clearly state the nature of your rant?

Also: aren't new age people those gentle souls who have fluffy spirituality and think rocks and crystals have special powers and who think Enya is really groovy? Besides being a little annoying what possible harm could they ever do?

Ive done a lot of research into new age movements and to be honest I thought it was all cool until I came across things like: channeling information from aliens, believing that the rapture is gonna take place with a huge alien mothership beaming us up to space, paying homage to 3 alien personages. (sounds awfully like the trinity)

The list is endless.

Im no Christian, but the amount of crazy people who get caught up in New Age movements, is astounding. They actually sit and believe this stuff.

Granted I cant prove aliens arent going to come and take me into their MOTHERSHIP! oh gosh...however...I dont need to believe in it to be 'saved' from utter perishment!

How bizarre.

I think it is a way for him to get a foothold. Not all new age is from him, but he will use whatever he can.
I find some of the so called christian bands very nonchristian.

Spare me your fear based religious rantings. Most "new" age practices have been around for thousands of years.....a lot longer than your bible or your warped version of god.
