This guy who I know and once cared for has caused me so much disappointments and hurt and he is so clueless of that fact. I can't ask him serious questions cause he just ignores me and is very secretive. I can just stop contact with others but with him I am having a hard time doing it. Has any of you had this problem and if so how did you finally handle it.

I know what a fool I have been to have wasted 3 years over him. Even though I live in san diego, finding someone who you can trust is not easy. But I am very close to just walking away, its only a matter of a few weeks now.

What I have found that works is by just removing that person from your every day life... If he is on your yahoo list... put him on ignore that way you arent tempted to contact him.... As for your cell phone... change his contact details so that if and when he calls.... something like 'Dont Answer Bob" comes up instead of his name to remind you not to answer....
In terms of stopping any kind of relationship with him.... Let him know that you need some time apart from him... Don't let him bully you or push you around... You need to make the rules at this point... Set the boundaries that are needed for your sanity... and let him know that its YOUR decision if you want to have a friendship afterwards....
You need to do what is best for you in order for you to heal... Safe paths and take care of yourself...

i had this problem i just blocked that fool but before i did that i told him about it and how it made me feel and then i said some things i liked about him and then blocked him so even though we aren't talking because of me telling him what i think is wrong but that ima also aware of his good points we are way betta off and we are still good better frendz than before
