Here's the next best thing....I've been making these for a couple of years and I swear, I'd rather have my own than Starbucks.

Frappucino

1 cup cold milk (can be whole or skimmed)
1 tablespoon instant coffee (I use Nescafe fine powdered instant)
2 squirts chocolate syrup
2 teaspoons sugar or flavored syrup (try vanilla, carmel or almond syrup)
7 ice cubes

Put all this in a blender and blend until smooth. For a particularly happy day add a shot of amaretto and whipped cream. One day I got wild and threw in a couple of marchino cherries, yum yum. Quite often I put in a frozen banana. You can adjust the amount of coffee and syrup to your tastes.

ingredients
18 -22 Ice cubes, crushed
7 ounces Double-strength coffee
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 whole vanilla bean
1/2 cup whole milk
Whipped cream, garnish
directions

Place the, coffee, sugar, milk, and vanilla bean (split the bean in half and scrap the tiny seeds from each half of the bean. Add the pod and seeds to the coffee mixture) in a small sauce pan.
Simmer 5 min. and sit aside to cool or place in the frig until cold.
Remove the the vanilla pod half's.
Place all in a blender with ice cubes.
Blend until the frappe is smooth.
Pour into a large, tall glass
Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream.
This is my own recipe I've modified from an old recipe I've had for years. It's the only one I use now. I do how ever still add different flavors now and then and experiment, using this as my base.
