I'd say $40.00-$80.00 cash, depending on how well they did and how helpful and how available they were when you had questions or needed them. Like, did they make you feel comfortable and at ease? How long was the service and did and they pronounce the deceased name correctly and stuff like that. There are times when they pronounce the name wrong of the person that the service is for, and that tells me they did not study up well on that person! That to me affects the 'donation'.

$35 or $40 sounds about right. I gave my Pastor $20 for my fathers funeral and that was 12 years ago.
