Today is the Superbowl as we all know, I texted my b/f and also father of my baby i'm only 3wks pregnant...well I asked him if he would rather hang out with me here at my house or still go to his friends house. Well he goes I would hang out with you but ***** is my friend so I am gonna hang out with him. I texted back to him Then I am going to stay home because I don't really feel like going anywhere today...He hasnt answered my text at all it's been like 20min. My mom knows i'm pregnany and his mom knows i'm pregant do you think he is wierded out by seeing my mom? Well I had to see him mom after she found out so I don't get how he thinks it's wierd seeing my mom I dunno maybe he feels that way. But I ditched my friends to hang out with him plenty of times to hang out with him so I dunno should I be worried? or concerned? I don't want to seem like a ***** telling him he can't hang out with his friends you know...but it just bothers me a lot...HELP

You told him you were just going to hang out at home, so why are you expecting him to text you back?
Let him watch the Superbowl with his buddies, you should all talk about that seriously, when you are in a talking mood and all, just try and establish ground rules that will help your relationship, you have a long way to go, if he stands by you you are a lucky girl, and I don't think he is siked too much about meating your mom since the news and all, I think he just needs a bit of time away from the situation for a while. Girl, it's superbowl....let him hang with his boys. This is one time of the year that the guys can just be guys. I know how hard it is to be pregnant at a young age, I got pregnant when I was a freshman. Your boyfriend is going through a lot now too, not just you, so I would just take a step back and let him do his thing. If he doesn't spend every moment with you, you and your child will be just fine. Also the more you bug and nag him the more it pushes him away. If he's willing to be there for that baby that should be enough. Good luck!!!!

I'd say... you picked the wrong guy. You know, even without you telling him to be by your side, HE SHOULD BE especially that he knows that you're pregnant. But I guess the best thing for you to do is like what meshakit said, give that jerk some space, sorry. Well, you're in a very compromising situation with someone who's irresponsible and shallow and don't know what his priorities in life is, so my advise would be control your anger because it will only make everything worse. It will only stress you out and yes you will be pushing him away, someone who still wants his freedom even if he got you pregnant already... really what a jerk! sorry again. I feel so sad too that mesha and the rest think that way, no offense intended, I just can never ever do that to a guy, be a martyr, like powerless. I'm just not that type.

Well, it could very well be that he is weirded out by your mom. Its hard to face someones mom after they find out that their daughter is pregnant (congratulations). So, just be patient and if he doesn't text you, call him.
