Your body no longer is used to nictotine in its body..therefore its reacting to it. It will make you jittery, its a stimulant.
BTW ..shame on you you made it 4 months ..don't start back up.

Cigarettes contain nicotine and a huge number of other toxic chemicals. The reason you get jittery is because the nicotine replaces the chemical in the nerve synapse that allows transmission of nerve signals. When you smoke, the body stops producing the natural chemical and allows the nicotine to take it's place. That is why after smoking you feel a sense of well being and then it wears off because the body needs more nicotine to cause the nerves to function. If you stop smoking, the body will start making the chemical again and you won't experience this problem any more.

If you had a cigarette after a long "detox" period (60 days or more) then the body is going to have a strong reaction to having nicotine back in it. I would be the same if you drank too much coffee for years, stayed totally away from caffeine for 3-4 months, and then had a cup. Nicotine and caffeine are strong stimulants and that's the usual reaction the body has to it.

If you are going to smoke weed again why bother to get healthy as the weed is not good for you anyway. It causes health problems and kills your brain cells. Since you will be killing brain cells it shouldn't make any difference if you are healthy or not. If you kill enough brain cells you won't realize if you are healthy or not. What a waste of you time to eat better so you can get unhealthy. Sorry to sound so negative but I have seen the effects of weed and drugs on friends and family and it was not a pretty sight. In fact it was after my late brother in law got OFF of drugs and weed that he commited suicide so do yourself a favor and stay away from the weed before it ends up killing you like it did my brother in law.

Nicotine is a stimulant and hence causes the jittery.

Because you just introduced a whole lot of poison into your clean system.
If all of us actually paid attention to the way a cigaret made us feel the first time we smoked it, and realized our body was acting that way in response to poisons, most of us would never continue to smoke.

PROBABLY SINCE YOU HADN'T SMOKED FOR 4 MONTHS AND THEN START UP, IT WAS A SHOCK TO YOUR BODY AND MIND. IF YOU WANT TO BECOME HEALTHY, STAY OFF THE CIGARETTES AND ESPECIALLY DON'T SMOKE POT. NEITHER ONE IS ANY GOOD AND YOU COULD BECOME ADDICTED TO BOTH CIGARETTES AND POT. GET SOME PATCHES OR GUM THAT HELPS YOU STOP SMOKING AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. GOOD LUCK!

Nicotine. The same reaction can occur from not drinking caffeine for months and then drink a caffeinated drink... I quit drinking alcohol and caffeine but if I were to have either, it kicks my butt.

Your body is not used to the poison and therefore has side effects that can range from dizziness to the jitters. Please for your own sake don't start again. It is an evil product.
