People tend to forget this section is also for SPIRITUALITY. A lot of Atheists are Spiritual. You wouldn't understand.

Its not a Christian forum thread so its a silly question for the most part.
Atheists are here to provide a counter point, a voice of reason, if a christian and a muslim are arguing over whose god is better isnt it a breath of fresh air when an atheist comes in and says how do you know either exist in the first place?
People just need to be a little courteous, not necessarily respectful because not all views are entitled to automatic respect.
Maybe people need to stop getting offended so easily.

Christians don't, one specific Christian may have. Not knowing the context of the original comment or the thread that it was placed in I can't know either way.
From your question I can easily derive a few simple things.
You are stereotyping people based on the actions of either a single or a few individuals. This is called bigotry.
For example;
if you were bigoted against blacks you might see a black person eating ribs and say "why do black people love them ribs!"
If you are bigoted against women and you saw a woman driving badly you might say "why are women are lousy drivers!"
Since you are bigoted against Christians you say, "WHy (sic) do christians (sic) love to claim that R & S is a christian (sic) forum thread, when it is for ALL RELIGIONS and lack?"
The answer is simple, being an intolerant bigot is the most stupid thing you could be.
Being an intolerant bigot and thinking you are open minded and tolerant is just ignorant and stupid.

Since when is Atheism a religion? The Atheists complain about religion being shoved down their throats but yet some devote hours of their time to this forum. I have no problem with them being here but it would be nice if some of them acted more mature.

Great question. I like that last part a great deal. As an agnostic I am looking for wisdom. I turn to R & S in hope that I will find somebody that will promote my mind to think about ideas I have never thought about before. I want people to open my mind up. That is what I do on R & S.
As for why people believe it is Christain forum Well people tend to think that others think like they do. People on here tend to be Christians, so they think that all people are. Just human nature.

I think the two strike a nice balance of polar opposites. They are both "certain" of what they believe and thoroughly enjoy having an antagonistic relationship and the pleasures of righteous indignation.

Not all of us Christians feel that way: obviously, this forum was created for discussion about all religions. Or lack thereof, as you say.

It is easy to put it on the Christian's when you are trying so hard not to understand why............Jesus said there are only so many that are chosen, so where are you going to be when the end times come?
The choice that many make to not walk with Jesus will lead them to the depth's of fire......is that a good choice?

the christians are control freaks but thay are scared of the atheists because thay can not control them and the christians are loosing because thay can not scare the atheists because thay do not believe in hell
