because going to church will no more make you a christian than sitting in a garage for an hour will make you a car!besides Im snowed in!

I go to Sunday evening Mass at 6:00, that's why.
And given that it's Superbowl Sunday, I imagine it's going to be me, about three other people who aren't into football, and the priest.

Why should anyone got to church? You are not going to learn the truth at church. You are just going to be forced to put your trust in a mysterious 3-headed God who is his own Son. Does that make sense? But wait. There's more. You are also going to be taught that a loving God can also torture people in a burning hell forever. You are going to learn that the human soul is immortal, although the Bible says at Ez. 18:4, 20 that the soul CAN die. While you are at church, you will be obligated to contribute money towards the preacher's new house and car.
With all that's going on in church, you would be better off if you stayed at home and watched old episodes of Ozzie and Harriet on cable TV.

If your assumption is that Sunday is the Sabbath - I laugh at you. Unfortunately there are no churchs of my particular belief that hold services on Saturday.
I dont hold with the traditions set by Constantine, the true father and founder of todays Roman Catholic Church.
But while we are on the subject of where people should be - shouldnt you be at the Athiest Church or something, taking turns on your soap-boxes dissing religion to each other??? isnt that what you people do? Besides sacrificing kittens to pitbulls?
