Hello! I'm working on a Chekhov play and need to secure a bandage to somebody's head. Very grateful for any advice. Thank you! G

The bandage was usually fabric. The end was torn longways into long enough strips so that one could go back around the head, then the ends were tied in a tight knot.

Pegasus 90 had the correct answer. This way of securing is still used today, if sticking plaster is not available to hand. I bandaged someones head like this not too long ago, when their ( in car) first aid box was a little ill equipped! Good luck with the project.

Caviar paste.
Do you really think this level of research is necessary? As long as no fastening can be seen, what's the problem?
