I have ADD. I just went to the doctor and he asked me a few questions, and prescribed me some medicine and its working great. I use to have trouble concentrating while I was driving just cause my mind would run on things, or not be able to concentrate in school or remember what people said, but I'm doing much better with it now. Hope this helps

Try calling social services and getting the number for their mental health department. Most of the county mental health agencies go on a sliding scale. They deal with ADD and ADHD on a regular basis

It will be tough for you without insurance to get the help you need. I'd strongly advise you find a way to get yourself health insurance.
Then, see a doctor about your concerns...don't rely on your own self-diagnosis. You wouldn't want to try an ADD medication without really knowing you have ADD first...it might give you a VERY bad day!

You likely dont need medication.

you just got to learn how to cope amnd how to use it to your advantage.

Dont let your ADD be an excuse.

How i cope?

1) Active effort to concentrate when I have to
2) Avoid foods that make me high in excess; e.g., too much cafeine or sugar. On occasion have them
3) Hearing protectors.
4) Use my ADD to be more creative. I still can and do do stuff like read 5 books at the same time. Just do less than i did b4.

I'm still bit of slob.

hey im Mickie Lee and i have ADHD....you can go to a hearing place and have tests done and all diffrent things to see if you have ADD OR ADHD. also you can go to counciling and get tests done. then a counciler can send you to a sertant doctor and you can get medication. the meds dont help to much. its really up to you to pay attention but some people dont understand its nearly impossible... i take wellbutrin and focalin right now. i have tried conserta but it has made me pass out. wellbutrin dose calm you down though for the 1st few months but it really up to you what you wanna do. im just taking this info from my exspriances. but good luck! and dont get to down on yourself if you happen to have it!

i don't know what you have of course, but if a doctor diagnosed this
[or if you strongly connect your symptoms with this "vague" diagnosuis, then you could safely try to use a tablet/capsule of pycnogenol of 25 mg per day.
if you use coumadine or other potentially dangerous drugs ,then first consult a physician.
all the best

See your doctor and ask for a referal to a clinic that tests for ADD/ADHD then go get tested. It's as simple as asking for a referal to get tested.

any Dr. who per scribes meds for this can and should be able to test you, and reasonably, if he isnt just go along with the test, afterwards report him to the medical board:
