I had an electronic device put in her by the collar bones. The device is called home again. If Jessie gets lost and someone brings her to a vet they will be able to get her home again . She has tags on too and is a house dog, never runs lose. I spoke to the vet about her howling ever since this device was put in last year. He said that know one else has complained about their dogs howling or anything else. It's too much of a coincidence that she howls everytime the phone rings. Any opinions?

All dogs do it. Most of the time they aren't used to the sound. Once he/she gets used to it maybe they wont howl/bark whenever ur phone rings.

You might see if you can change the ring tone.

It is like the police and fire trucks running with their sirens one. My dogs start howling, I think it is a beautiful sound, reminds me of wolves. Sitting out there letting their voices ring out. I love it.

I don't think it has to do as much with the electronic device as it does her ears. Dogs have sensitive hearing and the piercing sound the phone makes bothers her ears. Sirens do this to my dog when she is outside. I think it's pretty normal
