Is it something to do with speaking words out loud , as Jesus also said "by your words you will be condemned or justified" and "out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks"

Blasphemy against the Spirit
- Therefore, I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven (Matthew 12:31)

Is the sin of attributing to Satan
- But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "This man drives out demons only by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons." (Matthew 12:24)

What is the work of the Spirit of God
- But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Matthew 12:28)

We really do not know why Jesus said this sin is unforgivable.

With love in Christ.

When Jesus spoke about unforgivable sin, the Pharisees had just witnessed the powerful words and works of Jesus as the result of God’s spirit upon him. When they saw and knew that God’s spirit was working through Jesus, they were actually guilty of blasphemy against the holy spirit. How? They deliberately attributed Jesus’ works to the power of the demons. The Pharisees had a wholly selfish purpose in mind. They wanted to mislead the people so they could hold their position of dominance.—Matthew 12:22-30.

18 This could be the case with some who become Christians and then deliberately turn from God’s pure worship. Hebrews 10:26, 27 states that “if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgment.”—Compare Hebrews 6:4-6.

It could be in the heart as well as coming out of our mouth.

What is meant is a rejecting of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit of God is that which gives us the ability to understand how Jesus is the way of our salvation. This message can't be understood by human wisdom alone.

So, if the Holy Spirit is rejected, then faith cannot remain and salvation becomes nothing to the person.

I have a guess, as a catholic oriented mind: I believe anything can be forgiven by God, although some sins are difficult for him to forgive. Denying God would be one of those deemed as unforgivable sins, but this question seems to me to be very complex to be answer by me. In the Old Testament there is a moment when Moses goes against the wrath of God and even curses Him. But he is embraced by His ever loving presence in the end and things turn out to be exemplar, somehow.

I believe, though, we should watch over for whatever comes out of our mouths, for we are condemned, and there is suffering involved. Learn how and when to silence is a precious gift that we should always attempt to learn.

Christ said it's worse to deny the Spirit than it is to deny him. The Holy Spirit is our link to Christ. We don't want to do good, it's not in our nature. The Holy Spirit leads us to Christ. To deny the Holy Spirit is closing your heart to Christ. We only want to do what is "good" or "right" because of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit convinces you of what is right and wrong.. He is also our comforter.

The sin comes in when you close your heart to that Spirit. IF you say in your heart you don't want Christ or the Spirit and constantly turn against it, the Holy Spirit will eventually give up trying to convince you. In the last days you will see people are spiritually withdrawan.. The Holy Spirit will leave those who don't want to know Christ.

I HOPE I said this right. That to me is the scariest thing in the world. The Holy Spirit is the most important part of our faith. He is our lifeline to and with Christ. you can't stress that enough.

Denying that the holy spirit exists in your heart basically.

the worse thing one could possibley do would be to accept the holy spirit and its teachings, then deny them and work against them. That would be worse than never having known.

Dispair, thinking that God will not forgive all of our sins when all God requires is repentance.
