1. How did the world come about? Ummmm, I give up, God did it
Thinking is just too hard. It's easier to just say "God did it.
2. I'll just believe and play it safe to make sure I dont go to hell. Even though some of this God stuff makes no sense.
3. The unknown is scary. It's a relief to think that God is in control
4. I dont want to just die. I want to keep living so I'll just believe the afterlife exist
5. My minister says we're born bad. I guess I am. Now I really need Jesus.
6. My minister says i'm nothing without God. It must be true. I guess I'm nothing. That's why I love God

1) It takes a lot more thought to examine ALL the evidence and not just regurgitate a book of theories. That would actually involve studying Creationism and the arguements in its favor. . .are you sure your atheism is strong enough to handle that?
2) I'll just believe because I've examined the evidence for Christ and found it to be the truth. I'll live a joyful, peaceful life, trusting that God understands what I don't or can't.
3) The unknown is scary, but since I know that God is in control, I can face the future with peace and confidence.
4) I've read accounts of those who have been dead for more than half an hour and who have returned to life with a vision of Heaven or Hell. I don't have to worry about life after death. . .I know it exists and where I'm headed.
5) Boy, do I ever need Jesus! I know the pain that I've caused myself and others by my sins, and I am so happy that Christ's sacrifice has set me free from that misery.
6) My minister tells me that God loves me and has a plan for my life. It must be true. I know that He cares about me and wants me to live a happy, peaceful life. That's why I love God!

No, it sounds like you are on the wrong track.
You are looking for the "easy" way. And that is not the road with Jesus which leads to salvation.

this is what i think about the points you made
1. how did the world come about. right at the beginning of the Bible it makes it clear God created the heavens and the earth. God is all powerful and has done many miracles so it isnt hard to believe this. something i think it is hard to believe is things like the big bang theory. there was nothing then something? thats like saying im going to turn this air into like a car or something. now thats confusing.

3. its not just thinking God is in control, it is knowing. i know many times when God has proven to be in control.
4. everyone dies physically, but no one dies spiritually. you either go to Heaven or hell. Both are very distinctive and real places that you will spend life after earth in.
5. we were all born with sin because of Adam and Eve sinning. It says many times in the Bible that we are sinners. ("for while we were sinners, Christ died for us." "forall have sinned and come short of the glory of God.")
6. We all need God and cannot go to Heaven without Jesus Christ. It is good to Love God because he has done a lot for each of us and He loves us. From discipleship I learned that God puts challenges in our life to show that we need him and we cant handle those challenges without him. We also cant fight sin alone. satan has been around many years and knows many ways to fool people into sin. he even tried to tempt Jesus when he was fasting for 40days and nights when he was at his weakest, which failed. We cannot fight sin alone and we need the Holy Spirit to get past temptation.

1. God was ther ebefore everything. He created everything. Evolution is NOT real. It is a scientific theory, that was made up.
2. You are right that most of it makes no sense, but that is faith. believing something you cannot prove.
3. If you truly love God aka Jesus Christ he will help you throughout life
4. You shouldn't believe in heaven and hell, just because you are scared. believe because says its real.
5. We are born with a sinful nature. But if we believe in God, and Jesus, we will be forgiven and will go to heaven

Dude, this is a pretty overrated topic. All the atheists calling religious folk dumb, all the religious folk calling the atheists well, dumb.
Believe it or not, there are nicer ways to insult people. Which brings up the issue, why do you want to insult people when it leads to a similar consequence of religious people's squabbles.

the first man disobeyed God Adam was His name.So we are all related in some way to him.We all sin.Jesus came on the seen.Jesus died on the cross for us.because God the Father is so Holy we cant live with Him with our sin.So if we Believe that Jesus did this for us by faith.and we ask Jesus to forgive our sins and have Him come into our heart than Jesus fills us with His Spirit.So when God looks at us He dont see our sin God sees the Spirit of Jesus I felt Jesus come into my heart It is real if it were not I would not be wasting my time on this computer I would go fishing or shopping and what in the heck would i gain by trying to tell you this stuff I am not asking you for anything.Did i pass the basket to you so you can give me money.Man just think what is my motive.Get with the program and wake up and smell the coffee man wake up P.S. those last words are what my dad used to tell me about going to work.I thought he didnt no what he was talking about either until i listened to Him.If you want to see the truth I can lead You to Jesus right now say Jesus I am a sinner I believe You died on the cros for my sins Please forgive my sins I believe You are the Son of God and Jesus come into my heart believe it from your heart.I guarentee 100 percent if you do that you will feel Jesus fill you with His spirit and you will feel peace and love and you will not go to hell and suffer you will go to heaven and live in paradise forever what do you have to loose and look at what you have to gain.I will pray for you right now and it will happen.
