His public ministry lasted about three years. This is the part of his ministry that is documented. As the Son of God, it is quite likely that Jesus was teaching his entire life, from the moment of conception. The True God and True Man connection is in-seperable. This would make it impossible for him to Not-Teach. He must have been teaching (but no one was taking notes...)
