Keep all the pictures and store them in a box. Keep just your favorite card and toss the rest!! Hope this helps...!!

I sort of recommend option #3. Sometimes when I have something and I'm afraid of making the wrong decision (whether it be old pics or old clothes)...I put them away for a while. In a year or two when I come across them again, I am much less emotionally attached to them and can make a better decision then. I would say instead of making an ultimately final decision now, just pack the pics away for now.

I still have my wedding album from 1994 (divorced 1996) as well as some pics of my ex. I am in no way attached, but still consider it a period in my life and I choose to keep them.

Right now you probably want to burn them or shred them out of anger or hurt, but you'll enjoy remembering the fond times once you've gotten over the hurt of the break up. Put them in the back of your closet...in a shoebox or something and tape it shut. When you've healed enough to open it, you'll probably enjoy the walk down memory lane and be glad that you have a few sentiments to remember them by. At that time, you'll be able to decipher what is trash and what is a sweet token of relations past. Remember: What doesn't kill you can only make you stronger.

Throw away all of the cards and sentimental things. Keep a few of your favorite pictures, but put them in a box and put them away, out of sight. Get rid of all the other stuff. It's hard to do, but it's the easiest way in the long run. I'm sorry, I know it hurts.

Put them into a box and put them away. Eventually the bad memories will become just that and you will be able to remember the good times and look at them again. Good luck!

know the feeling, i gave ALL the pics back and kept the negatives, for now. gave back everything i could but the clothes off my back and some knick-knack's. still have hard time looking at anything still remaining in my home, but i think i will eventually remove all in time.
the only thing i can't find a way to get rid of is the love i carry inside. = (

wish you well....

*applause* positive one. i comprehend that is embarrassing checking boobs even though it should be carried out. It hurts noticeably having the smear although that is in common words some seconds of soreness somewhat than a existence of no longer understanding! Will bypass the message on later. Ta.

I always felt good in getting rid of that stuff and moving forward. Keeping that stuff around makes it harder to get rid of any emotional attachment.

Throw them in an old box with all your memories if you can't decide.
