I'm trying to make ham salad and the recipe calls for 2 pounds of ham. I need to know what that would be chopped in cups.

1 cup = 8oz. (1/2 lb.)
So for 2 lbs ham you are looking at about 4 cups of chopped ham. Most recipes have a lttile give & take in them. Only Baking requires perfect balance.

A cup is 8 ounces and a pound is 16 ounces. So...2 pounds equals 4 cups.

4 cups of diced ham.One pound is sixteen ounces. One cup(dry) is 8 ounces I hope this helps you.
