i have lots of photos stored on my p.c using up a lot of space.

i need to burn them off to disc's

what size disc's do u recomend ??

the last ones i bought as a pack said - CD-R80 52X - ON THE PACK ( up to 52 x multi speed 80 min/700 MB )


how do i find out on the pack - how many pics it will store - like an album etc ???

Photos are reasonably small, any size disc would work. So don't worry about storage space.

The dics can hold 700 MB of pics. It depends what quality you have your pics at. Just right click on a couple and go to properties and it will say how much space they take up on a disc. Remember that 1000KB = 1MB. Then just do the math to see how many pics you can fit on each disc.

The vast majority of CDs will be 700mb. 52x is a read speed, and doesnt effect how much you can fit on it. If you have a dvd burner, I'd use DVDs, but photos are usually fairly small and you should be fine with CD-R (or CD-R/W if you want to be able to remove and replace the pictures on the CD).

If you put the cursor over the file, the size will be displayed, add them up. There are free burners out there that will do that for you.CDBurnerXP Pro is a good one. You can even put your honey's picture on the splash screen..
