My boyfriend mentioned to me the other day that I have acne and if my hair was real. He also pointed out that my right eye was bigger than the left. When he asked of his flaws and said I did not see any. I don't think he was trying to be mean but I dont know. I told him that my last boyfriend said he cheated on me be the other woman did not have skin like mine. Does he not like me because of my flaws, I thought that when you love someone you dont see any... what do you think of this?

when you love someone, you see the flaws but it doesn't bother you at all, it can be playful, or used to tease the person, but i dont think the person in love would ever care about these flaws. when ppl fall out of love, they'll throw the flaws in your face and kick you when you're down.

When you love someone, you see their flaws, but can live with those flaws and love them anyways. Physical flaws shouldn't be an issue, and definately shouldn't be something which your boyfriend holds against you. The fact that he is bringing them up in such a rude way makes me think that he is just being nit-picky and trying to start an argument. The fact that you don't see any of his flaws makes me think that you are naieve and obviously don't know him very well yet.

I think you need to pick better boyfriends right now. He would have to realize he hurt * your feelings by saying those things to you.
No one is "perfect"...and Everyone has Flaws*...You can still "love" someone and not like some of their ways., or looks or whatever.
Your last boyfriend cheated on you...and then has a nerve to say the other girl didn't have skin like yours WOW*
Sounds like you should just forget about "boys" for the moment..focus on school..GoodLuck

I think that when you are in love you can see flaws, but you become accustomed to them. It's like you notice them but you don't. By him pointing them out to you, it just means that he is letting you know that he accepts you for who you are whatever flaws you may have. I don't think that you should be afraid to tell him any of the flaws that he has. It's good to be able to have that type of honesty in a relationship.

I think it's his insecurity that makes him pin point your flaws. I think he feels like if he doesn't tell you that you are not perfect you might leave him from some one else. This seems to be a male condition, to make the woman less so they feel like "more" but in fact if you are smart you will ignore his comments and do not doubt, he loves you, he's just afraid and stupid.

Flaws are not an issue if he loves you, however if you're comfortable w/ the flaws then you can take his criticism and turn it into your favor. But yah..sounds like he's being too overly critical of you..OR..he just calls it like he sees it...since you know him better then I do only you can be the judge of that.

It's not that you don't see the flaws, because let's face it NOBODY'S PERFECT. It's just that If you are really in love you love that person in spite of the flaws.

Love is more than a feeling Its a commitment. a decision to love that person with faults. I think some times we dont see the faults because were blinded by the feeling of love. which is not good. I had a ex husband that use to make fun of me and my faults and compare me to his exes that is not love. every one has there faults and if you want to decide to love that person it shouldnt matter about there faults.

yes, and you love the person anyway and in some cases find the flaws endearing.
