im a 13yr old girl and i learned most of what i know now from my dad and bro but im also reading this book called the "Automotive Encyclopidia" and it teaches everything there is to know about cars. if you want to learn more specificly about VW just go to the library or look online for books about it. well goodluck in the car industry!

The best way to learn is from a friend or relative. If there's somebody you trust (and make sure your parents trust them as well and know you're over there)who is working on cars near your home, ask if you can watch and ask a few questions. Then, once you know a little bit, go to a trade school or apprentice program. You can also learn a lot on the Internet in forums once you know the basics.

Buy a Bentely manuel from germanautoparts.com and study it. You will learn everything about vw. Thats how I got to learn more about my jetta and I can do all the work on it now too.

read magazines and books or do searches for information on line...if you like Eurosports car...you need to learn about the 80's Audi Quattro and Saab 900 turbo

I say spend your time in VW related forums. Go register in VWVORTEX.com. Its like the mecca of online water pumping VW's. They cover everything. Spend time reading and asking questions there, and you are guaranteed to find what you need.
