I get that as well if I have had a boozy night out, I think it is something to do with the alcohol messing with your sleep, making it erratic, you may wake up early but it will catch up with you later on in the day so best get your head down for an early night.

Set two alarms. When the first one goes off take a caffeine pill (no Doze) that you have by the bed. The second alarm goes off a 1/2 hour later and you are awake. Get up!

I suspect you wake up because your body has dehydrated from the alcohol, also you may need to get rid of the liquid in your system. This I noticed happened to me.

Beleive it or not, it turns into a stimulant. I wake up early too.. Weird.
