simple way is to educate the lower strata of our population. becoz they are the ones who are contributing to this problem a lot , this measure will not result in quick result but will certainly be benificial in long term. second is to use condoms and contrceptive devices which will help in controlling it in much faster rate.

Now, the Government should try at least through the NGOs. A strong policy of carrot and stick should be employed. If the measures are taken now, its fruits will be visible only after 50 years. Spread of literacy is another factor, that will encourage birth control. In States like Kerala and Tamil Nadue, who are the leading States, in adult literacy, the rate of population growth is far below the national average. The correlation is there for every one to see.

social workers they can canvas door to door in our every society

(2). To awarness about of poverty situation in all society people
and how can maintain the financial position(in the basis of growth of population)
(3). Society peoples have some responsibility to maintain the family population, whether, their childrens get sufficient- education, enough food for their life, whether, they can with the society people.
(4). " HUM DO HUMARA DO"- is the best slogans -of our govt. of India. some educated peoples are maintaining this idea, but, some illeterate persons are not following this matter.
We have to go with them, and should be convince to reduce the
popularity - more than it will be convince to them -"more population, more poverty( because they can't maintain their family.)
(5) In our constitution should be a guideline that every family
will enjoying with two childrens, not more than that.
In our India so many religns are living, like, hindus, muslims,
gugrati, punjabiand ors. ( the govts. guide line should be strictly
for all religions)
(6). We should be watch with the street beggers, because , they are spreading popolation in our country, there are so many street
begars are living in footpath
(7) so many prostitudes spreading populations, which, we are
waching at the govts. home selter.

Minimise subsidies to a level where it starts pinching everybody to the extent that they become bothered about adding one more member to the family. Remove the girl-bias by offering free education to every girl-child so that when they grow up professionally, they are perceived to be as good or even better than a male-child.Improve the health of the population thro' vaccinations and better hygiene and sanitation so that the infant mortality rate decreases.
Offer sterilisation measures freely and voluntarily with the free use of a creche during that period for the care of their small babies.
Once the people start reaping the benefits of the above measures, they will voluntarily opt for smaller families.

Take care of the people in society (more people should have the basics: food, shelter, education,clean water) Empower women with equality and education and birth control.

china started on their one child policy long time back. they also have a larger land mass to fit their population. in the seventies we had family planning campaigns, now nobody in India is talking about it. States like kerala because of their high literacy rates have blunted population growth. One side we need to increase education penetration, educate on family planning and try and implement one child norm or disincentives for someone with more than one child.
