I actually just got my hair cut and layered. My hair was down to my butt and now it's like in the middle of my back. I got some layers put in and I also got a side fringe too . I LOVE my hair now. this is the nicest my hair has ever looked. I would highly recommend that you go ahead and get it done. I think you will love it too. As long as you go to a good hair stylist then I think you will look great as well, and be very pleased with the results.

I think you should get the best of both of them. Get long layers, but ask the stylist to use a razor and soften the texture of your shorter layers, giving it a sort of feathery effect. Absolutely get a side fringe! They are really in right now, and you should have it long enough that it doesn't fall into your eyes because the static from your hair will make you look like Paris Hilton, with her freaky eyes.

Hi do not get it feathered all this consitst of is the hairdresser cutting the bottom of your hair and usually they do it wrong. I used to get them both mixed up and it wasnt until a really good hairdress put in layers for me then i realise i was asking them to do my hair wrong. Layers is where then keep the length but cut vvarious bits of your hair all over but it looks fantastic and your idea of a side frige songs nice. Any style suits blonde hair.

Feathered is texturing the ends so you get that nice spiky ends that frame the fac. A side fringe will look flatering with that style. Have layers but keep them long

I believe feathering is just cutting into the hair around the face whereas layering is cutting into all of the hair, making it all different lengths. Ask your hairdresser first though and between you you will come up with something you will be happy with.

get it layered not feathered, feathered looks best on short hair and layered looks best on longer hair. a side fringe would look really cute.

Bend down/over forwards, brush your hair from the back to the front so it hangs down in front of your face and twist it round until tight, cut three inches off the bottom and when you stand up your hair is layered evenly. It also saves vast amounts in hair dressing charges.

Usually, which too long for me. I believe it depends on the guy and his face though. Certain guys can easily pull off long hair and other folks can't.
