i am looking to get a dyson,i have never had one before so i need some help lol.
i am interested with 2 hoovers dc08 telescopic wrap carpetpro + allergy also the dc08 telescopic wrap animal
i have a dog so need a good hoover to pick up the hair as other so called "animal" hoovers have been unsucessful in doing this.

i have looked on the dyson website but still a bit confused.
from what i understand they are both similar however the animal one has a mini turbine head and the other one doesnt..does this mean the carpetpro =+ allergy does NOT pic up animal hair?? and also does anyone know if you can attach the mini turbine brush to the carpetpro + allergy or does it only fit on the animal hoover??

thanks!

if your unsure of the hoovers iam talking about have a look at the website and type in the names i have mentioned

Bagless vacuums are a good idea for removing animal hair, as it fills the bags on ordinary vacuums at a mighty rate.

The mini turbine will work on either, but you may need to buy it as a seperate accessory depending on which model you buy. They dont do much better than an ordinary brush head to be fair. As soon as you press down, it reduces the air flow (which is all that turns the brush head!) so no real benefit.

When it comes to stuff like this I just think it's like washing up powder, it's always 'new and improved' when there's nothing wrong with the plain ordinary stuff.

I've still got the first dyson that came out after 15 or so years of faithful service and have no problem with it not sucking up pet hairs - and seeing as I keep rats the hairs are a heck of a lot smaller than a dogs.

That said - the Dyson does rock - as much as hoovers can do so…

We have the standard upright Dyson and a dog and it works well. Our Dyson is an early model.
