my 1 year old was just getting over a bad flu he catched in germany. now we are bak in the the us and yesterday a other 1 year old came to hug my son in the shoestore. her grandmother explained happily that the baby has a virus, which they talked about in the news, we live in california. now i dont know weather its something bad, we havent seen the news as we were in germany.
what should i do, go to the hospital with the higher temp, can he still eat and drink everything.

i am so mad at those people for letting a sick child run around and hug other babys.

i am worried again, i could just cry, i dont want him suffering from a cold again, the last one was bad enough

i know how you feel. but so far it seems like your little one is doing ok. if he still wants to eat and drink then let him. does he have a fever now? make an appt with the pediatrician for a check up and see what they say and or suggest. There is nothing worse than a sick baby and a sad mommy - i felt the same way when my son is sick. your doing great just follow up with the pediatrician....lots of luck..

there is a nasty little bug going around called the norwalk virus. It causes nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, fever, and body ache. Good news is it's not serious, and subsides quickly. As long as your son is kept well hydrated he'll be fine, and make sure to keep his temp nice and low.
