no. i stopped drinking and they asked me to leave the country.

I sometimes wonder if you can anywhere in England if you dont drink-so much of most peoples social life is based around the pub.
You can always go out to a bar or pub without drinking-its the good company thats important, not the booze.
Otherwise you will need to work out activites that are totally seperate from pubs-exercise or book clubs for example.
Good luck, it can be hard when the majority of people like to get drunk!

Depends on you I suppose - I didn't drink when I was in London but equally didn't find it the most sociable place in the world either. I don't need a drink to have fun, or be fun.
I didn't drink because I was constantly under the fear getting mugged or robbed. At least sober I could watch my back and my buddies.

Anyone can have a social life wherever they live even if they don't drink. Who says you have to drink to go clubbing or into bars and pubs? Ignore all those who drink and make comments go out and enjoy yourself. Have fun!

Yes,I do not either (Drink) but then I don`t live in the Metropolis,there are many places you can go to without feeling you have to have a alcoholic drink.Socially I reckon you would be good company `cos the company you would drink with means you or them won`t have a hangover.
