ich passierte
du passiertest
er/sie/es passierte
wir passierten
ihr passiertet
sie passierten
'passiert', as given by Dr Green, is incorrect. That is the past participle, not the imperfect conjuguation of the verb.

Passieren is a regular verb. The only more unusual thing about it is that "sein" is used when making the perfect tense:
"Es ist passiert" - It has happened.

different persons have dealt with the "Romance" = "from Roman" question. As for gender, i've got steadily come to realize that English is not any doubt considered one of the few languages that would not have gender. it relatively is not in basic terms those that descended from Latin. Russian has gender. German, our cousin language, has gender. previous English had gender. In some extraordinary way we lost gender in the potential of turning into cutting-side English, even nonetheless cutting-side English became right into a merger of two languages that the two had gender (the previous English spoken via the community tribes, and the previous French of the invading Normans).
