If you looked at Thai history, you will find that Indian influence was the strongest, especially with Buddhism which had the whole country embracing that faith. Indian architecture style can also bee seen in the temple structure. When Chinese influence came in, there was some absorption of the Chinese culture, especially when there was trans-migration of the ethnic Chinese into thailand, especially more so during the Cultural revolution, that you find Chinese influence being incorporated into the Thai culture.

As for Islamisation, the close border link with the southern Islamic neighbour inevitably bring on some conversion, especially when nter-racial marriage take place. You find that majority of the Muslim Thais are still concentrated in the southernmost provinces.

I am sure you can pick these up from the Thai history.

As for politics, the greatest influence will be Buddhism. Not the Indo, Sino and Islam.
