I was really embrassed the other day. My bf and I were having sex and I was in the middle of having an orgasm and then I farted without even knowing it was coming. I mean it wasn't very loud or anything but I was embrassed but I didn't make a deal out of it and he didn't even say anything. We just kept doing what we were doing. We have never done that in front of each other. And I was just wondering for though's ladies this has happened to what did you do and for thoughs guys that have been in the same spot as my bf what did you do or say?

having sex ~ especially achieving orgasm causes the muscles in the anal sphincter to relax and contract and thus make you pass gas
its a very normal thing that can happen to both sexes
its happened to me and we both just cracked up laughing to be honest but then again we are very open about that kind of thing and will just discuss it (once the laughter dies down...)

It is wholly contingent on the severity of the stank... Believe it or not... If a woman farts (during sex or otherwise) and a man is there to smell it yet it does not stink for whatever reason... (perhaps the fart angels swooped in to save her dignity) then the man may actually end up believe she is even CLEANER than she was before she farted...
Like "Wow, she is so clean her farts don't even stink!" Even if a man does not consciously think this it is a at least an instinktual psychological reflex...

From a guys point of view, if it didn't stink and wasn't loud, there's no reason why it would affect anything. My gf did the same thing, but we both were preoccupied with orgasms. Don't worry about it.
The reason this happened is because the muscle contraction of an orgasm are in your stomach as well as the muscles when farting.

It's happened often to me. Actually I'm not sure that any of the ladies I've dated have not done it whether it be a gas fart or a vaginal fart. Either way it's a natural occurance and the only thing I do is either ignore it, or say something funny about it, so that we both laugh....sex is SUPPOSED to be fun isn't it?

It happened to me one night when he wanted sex. I just remember being really tired and then having some gas in between. He probably knew I was embarrassed so he did nt make a big deal of it. Then it was over.

A bent over women is always a risky proposition... We men are in the danger zone where all kind of unfortunate things can take place... I am always sweating bullets when my girlfriend wants doggy style... It is so risky for me for the very reason you made your post... Maybe that is why doggy style is my favorite position because of the suspense of whether I will be denigrated with excrement or flatulence :) Are you single?

I'm a man and this has happened to a woman under the circumstances you describe. I didn't do or say anything and it was the last thing I cared about at that moment. BTW-other women have told me it happened to them.

Yes, it has happened to me once, we just laughed about it for a few seconds and then went back to what we were doing. I still get a laugh out of it today, but I hope it never happens again.
