Sure you can go over limit. What happens is that the company with which you have the credit card will send a report to the companies who take all the records for you to have a credit score. The fact is that your credit score will be lower and your your APR will be higher.

Yes, you can jump the credit limit. Just book a ticket online. Ensure its cancellation charges are minimum. Then cancel the ticket. The ticket amount would be refund to account. The great thing to notice is that you will be billed after 3 days for that ticket. So, the refund amount would minus your total outstanding. You can use that outstanding to purchase anything else. And bank will realise later that you have crossed your credit limit. Just try this.

Depending on your credit status -
1) - Embarrassing scene at retailer when they announce your card has been declined .
2) - It is authorized and your next bill has 'over - limit' fees that make you fall down dizzy and pass out.

Unless you are heading into bankruptcy court, try and avoid going over the limit.

NO. The charge that brings your account over the limit will be denied. The onyl way it can work is if a payment is applied and you charge something before the finance charges are added a few days later. Then not only will you owe the minimum payment, but also any amount over the limit.
