In fact I would like to elaborate on this aspect, the one who is more attached to other person gets hurt. Yes, when you to tend to be selfless, helpful and go out of the way to do things and the other does not bother to appreciate and despite all this leaves.

like some one else said that could be interpreted as possessive and hence why it hurts when it goes bad, lack of self esteem finds women over compensating, thus the "loves" too much mentality, the fear being alone and so they go over the top in love, a clear sign of lack of maturity
