Out of RESPECT for your "friend", NO IT IS NOT OK!! Your "friend" will more than likely be upset and feel very betrayed by what they thought was a "friend". I mean come on, this is not the only person out there for you to date? Dating relationships come and go but true friendship is one of a kind!
Just remember... What goes around comes around!!! If you think it is ok then go for it, but watchout! Don't be suprised, hurt, or angry when the tables are turned!! Not to mention how others may trust you and value you as a friend now!

first thing take your friends feelings into account .if it is an issue to you there might be reason to call her tell the situation, if she is over him she wont mind .but if she is a true friend please talk to her first.your friendship is more important .if god has plans for this to work out it will. please be caring of your friends feelings. you will feel soooooooo much better about yourself by taking her feelings first .good luck

It's fine. Of course, your friend might not think so but if she cared about him so much, she shouldn't have broke up with him.
