Other people have given you suggestions, but you could phone up local hairdressers to see if they need students then you could get it professionally done relatively cheaply. Ask for a quote though before they start. You will get excellent advice so the problem does not happen again.

Ok this is what you do. get some lemon juice pour some into a spray bottle, and spritz it onto your hair and then go spend sometime out in the sun. Do this as much as you can in a row and it will have a vibrant light blond glow to it. 3 of my kid's have blond hair and my 2 girls do this for there hair and it turns out really pretty.

Mix baking soda and a small amount of over the counter peroxide into a handful of shampoo. Work into a good lather. Then leave it in for 5 to 10 min.
They have shampoos for blondes to fix this more safely though. They prevent and fix. Or you are going to have to wear a bathing cap next time you go to a pool.

If it's greeninsh from swimming or hot tubbing, try a shampoo called ultraswim. You should be able to find it at most stores. I had the green thing happen to my hair too, and this took care of it.
Also, before you swim, put a little leave-in conditioner in your hair, and that will help the chlorine from hurting your hair.

Try squirting a fresh lemon in your hair. Take a fresh lemon and squirt it into a bottle and mix it with your shampoo and see if this will help. Do this every other day. Then use a good smelling conditioner to help cover up the lemon and use gel or styling cream with a scent.

get the sort of conditioner that has dye in it (loreal triple X protection creme is good) and after you wash your hair apply that and then apply plenty of good quality mousse and straighten it, this should set the colour.

alternatively, you could go to a hairdressers and get it done there or cut off, but you said "home remedy" so i'm guessing yu don't want to do that...
