Sex isn't a sin, it is pre-marital sex that is, there is a difference. Sex in itself is a wonderful, beautiful and very private thing to be shared between two people, but it's only supposed to be shared between you and your soul mate, not six other people or so.

Society has made sex into a perversion and so has sullied something beautiful. We christians do revere and enjoy sex (look at Catholic families with 4+ children, they definitely enjoy it!) but we see that sharing yourself only for physical enjoyment is ruining what sex is about.

Look at it this way: If you sleep with almost everyone you seriously date and then it doesn't work out, you've now given a piece of yourself to that person. So when you finally find your soulmate what have you left to give him/her? You've already given yourself to someone else and so now you can only partially give yourself to someone.

I'm not talking about everyone either, there are people who make mistakes in life and such, but waiting for sex is what makes it so special.

Sex outside of marriage is considered a sin, because it is a act of joining two bodies, like joining in spirit. The bible says a man shall leave his house take a wife and they will become one...right? Sex outside marriage has always been a sin since the fall of adam.

sex has never been a sin. It is supposed to be revered and enjoyed, but when done outside of marriage or a commited relationship it tends to lose that status...

Sex isn't a sin unless it is"abused". Sex was meant for procreating, even in the insect and plant worlds. As humans with a consciousness of "right and wrong" we either feel good or bad about the way the sex is carried out.

Since when is it a sin? Sex if between married mature adults is a beautiful thing! If it is with under age people it is a sin...if it is with people who are seeking to fulfill their lusts, who are not married to each other...then it is a sin. Do you not know that when you make a connection with someone in a sexual way, you are also making a spiritual connection? You don't want to waste your essence on someone you don't intend to spend your entire life with...that woman will forever have a spiritual link with you...she will own a piece of you. Don't dissipate your power by giving it freely to all kinds of people.

Sex is only a sin if it is done outside the confines of marriage sanctioned by God. Sex inside of marriage is what God meant it to be, a passionate way for a MAN and a WOMEN to become one with each other. For when you marry someone you are becoming one with them in that marriage. Symbolizing how God is one with us with the connection of the Holy Spirit as a fallen race(in a non sexual way for you sick minded people out there). However, to answer your question, sex was considered a sin outside the confines of marriage when the fall of man happened at the garden of Eden.

Your premise is wrong. I take it you refer to the (Christian) church's supposed teaching that sex is sinful. In fact you have hit the nail on the head in your own question. Sex is not sinful but lacking reverence for sex is.

Sin is of God- however He ordained it to be sacred between a husband and a wife only. Think about it this way- how special it would be if people waited until their wedding night- it would not be something that they have done already.

When we as people took it out of context. Sex is supposed to be a beautiful thing shared by two people male and female in wedlock. Just like the Bible tells us.
