Not the Christian god. We actually believe more in the innate goodness of humankind, when it's allowed to express itself. We also believe there is a great evil that does it's best to subjugate and enslave humankind to the demands of a few who attempt to sequester power and prestige unto themselves. We believe that this evil must be confronted and battled, and to that end we direct our energies. We most often do it alone - such practitioners are known amongst us as "solitaries". We will occasionally, in group settings, turn our attention towards means of combatting evil, and at times will attempt to direct our natural energy through a process called "projection" in an attempt to influence attitudes of others and events.
When we gather in groups, which is quite rare, we will often conduct a simple ceremony that affirms our friendship and unity of purpose. That ceremony often involves invoking a spiritual guide we sometimes refer to as "the goddess" (we believe that goodness and benevolence are distinctly feminine characteristics). Some of us have a particular image of this goddess, and even suggest that this spiritual entity has a companion, called "the horned god", who does provide a counter to her benevolence. This horned god is NOT Satan or a devil, which is a Christian concept. He is not all-powerful and all-knowing, and in fact is subservient to the goddess in all things. He is her companion, her consort, and yes, her lover.
What we do not do is insist that ours is "the one true goddess". We simply do not accept that such primitive, medieval image of a harsh, even ruthless, god is necessary. We accept the radical notion that human beings are capable of leading a good life, respecting others and avoiding acrimony and wickedness without the threat of a vengeful god hanging over our heads ever ready to swing a huge mallet and smash us to bits for every slight, real or imagined. To us, that's not a god, that's a monster. And that's our philosophy. We know yours all too well, so please don't start on us. Mindless repetition will not make anyone else's image of god any more believable or acceptable.

Yes, in some form or another, pagans (most witches fall into that category) believe in "God". Some are pantheists, some are polytheists, we just don't happen to believe in the same "God" to which the monotheists (jews, christians, muslims) ascribe.

Typically, yes. And, if you'll allow me to disagree with many of the other folks posting, many Pagans even believe in the Christian God.
The difference is that they don't *follow* him; instead, those who believe in him merely acknowledge his existence as, essentially, "someone else's deity". They don't pay much creedence to the claims made by the Christian God, of course, and don't see him as omnipotent, etc.

Yes, some are polytheistic, others are nature worshippers, I personally see the Divine in everything, and believe that God (whatever He/She/It is) is just too smart for us fallible humans. Don't you think It knew before It made us that we wouldn't be able to agree on what It is? Of Course! So, It decided to manifest in infinite ways so that we could all find It. Even atheists have It! (I know they won't admit it, but they know Divinity too...) Oh, no, I hear the atheists getting ready to tear me a new one, but wait, Divinity is science, mathematics, whatever gives the universe order for -you-. My oldest brother is a Mathist, I swear! Yes, Divinity is much much smarter than us....... And I have no choice to believe in It.

Sure they believe in god, just not some of the organized religions version of the divine.
Pagans worship reality. A flower is dead if cut off from its roots. So are we. The earth, sun and moon are what determine our quality and existance. To say blessings to them is much more sensible and effective than nonexistent versions of dieties.

Yes. We believe that you can choose which Gods to worship and you should choose the God(s) that is best for you, or rather, the one(s) who chose you. We believe in all Gods, we simply don't worship them all.
